METAL, POTS, & PANS was one of the very first Publication projects that required the portrayal of the identity of a rising Malaysian chef. Nelson Chow, a young culinary student was very much into the Metal genre of music and he had a big dream of playing side by side with Metallica. But in reality he was suppressed in the kitchens, confined behind the walls of his culinary courses and drowned in the influence of insidious activities. The book was graphically designed showing how he has fallen and risen from the highs and lows of the pressures society has implemented on him. How he overcame his war with music and culinary arts as his arsenal against the world. A heavy metal chef with a light heart.
